The opportunity
Agrodart is seeking an Account Manager to own and grow relationships with our key clients and business partners — including institutional buyers, flour mills, feed manufacturers, and bulk traders. You will manage the full account lifecycle from onboarding to retention, working closely with procurement, logistics, and operations to ensure seamless service delivery. This role sits at the intersection of sales, operations, and strategy, with direct exposure to senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Own a portfolio of key accounts — buyers, institutional partners, and long-term suppliers — ensuring high satisfaction and retention
- Build deep, trust-based client relationships and proactively resolve concerns before they escalate
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts and work with the BD team to convert them
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure accurate and timely service delivery
- Track account performance metrics — volumes, margins, and satisfaction — and present regular reports to leadership
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, contracts, and commitments
- Support new business development by providing market intelligence and client feedback
Experience and requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in account management, B2B sales, or client servicing — preferably in agribusiness, FMCG, logistics, or supply chain
- Strong relationship management skills with a natural ability to build rapport and earn trust
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills — comfortable in both boardroom presentations and ground-level conversations
- Analytical mindset with experience preparing MIS reports, account performance decks, and growth forecasts
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a lean, fast-moving team without hand-holding
- Knowledge of the agricultural supply chain, grain markets, or commodity trading is a strong advantage
- Degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, or a related field; MBA preferred but not mandatory
